Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki requested in Saturday’s parliament session the allocation of $37 billion for the infrastructure bill, a parliamentary source told Qatar News Agency. The source said that the sum will be used for infra-structure investments in health, education, electricity and housing over the next five years. The source also said that Al Maliki presented a detailed plan on his infrastructure bill to members of the parliament.
