The huge investment opportunities in the southern province of Ouargla (800-km southeast of Algiers) have been highlighted during a conference held Tuesday afternoon as part of the third International Oil Product and Service Providers Show. The director of ANDI decentralized one-stop service, Belkacem Kaff underlined the necessity to invest in the province’s huge potentialities in various fields, especially in hydrocarbons, tourism agriculture, fish farming and others. During this conference, Director of Agriculture Ahmed Zoubir highlighted the huge potentialities of Ouargla for hydraulic reserves and arable lands, and stressed the need to invest in the agricultural sector, particularly in stock breeding and potato growing. Hassi Messaoud Expo 2013 opened Tuesday with the participation of some 280 companies, including 140 foreign exhibitors from 25 countries. The companies are exhibiting various products and services related to the exploitation and exploration of hydrocarbons, including the new technologies used in the field. The five-day show is an opportunity for contacts and exchange of experience between the professionals.
