President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi said on Sunday that Yemen's economy is in a difficult situation due the exceptional and difficult circumstances experienced by the country. This came during his meeting with a number of sheikhs and notables of Bani Matar area led by Sana'a Governor Abdul-Ghani Jameel. The president pointed out that the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund know well the difficult economic situation in Yemen. In the meeting, The president dealt with the steps that have been done to spare Yemen the ravages of division and war reaching up to the comprehensive national dialogue (NDC) in light of the Gulf initiative and its mechanism and the UN Security Council resolutions 2014 and 2051. He stressed that the republican regime ,the unity of Yemen and the implementation of the conclusions of the comprehensive national dialogue are red lines. The president touched on a number of issues related to the economy, youth, poverty and unemployment, expressing his great appreciation to Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz for his generous assistance of oil derivatives during the crisis. The president asserted that Yemen today is on the outskirts of the exit from the crisis once and for all and to address all the problems and files through translating the NDC's outcomes. He explained that the administrative supervision through the six regions and the creation of government components in each region is to serve the development process. The President expressed strong displeasure at the continuing acts of sabotage against the interests of the people through repeated attacks on power lines and oil pipelines, calling for arresting and pursuing the vandals and bringing them to justice to be punished. "We will work to meet your needs of water, electricity and other services ", the president addressed the people of Bani Matar ,urging them to be watchful eyes in order to secure the roads and defend the security and stability and the gains of the homeland.
