Director General of the GCC Labour and Social Affairs Ministers Council Executive Bureau Aqeel Ahmed Al-Jassim stressed the necessity of benefiting from training programs offered by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Turin, adding the GCC countries need to strengthen the capacity of the ministries' administrative and technical cadres and Turin is an appropriate opportunity. During today's meeting held at the ILO headquarters in Geneva between GCC Labor Ministries' representatives participating in the 102nd session of the International Labor Conference, and Head of Program Development and Regional Cooperation Services for the Arab Region in the Turin's center, Janet Shalbi. Al-Jassim said this meeting came in implementation of the decision taken by the GCC Labor Ministers at the 46th coordinative meeting held last week in Geneva, adding the meeting aimed to inform the meeting's participants on the quality and size of the programs offered by the center, in addition to explaining the GCC countries' requirements in terms of type and quantities of programs required in Arabic language.
