The office-bearers of the Institution of Engineers (India)– Qatar chapter have met the Indian ambassador to Qatar Sanjiv Arora at the Indian Embassy during a familiarisation visit. During the visit, the institution’s past chairman Er Animesh Sarkar spoke about the history of IEI-Qatar chapter, its objectives and achievements since inception in 1991 and how the chapter has been rendering excellent professional services to the engineering community of Qatar, in consistent to the objective of its parent body. Ambassador Sanjiv Arora welcomed the committee members and thanked them for the selfless services they have been rendering to the Indian community. Present on the occasion were honorary chairman Er Debashish Roy, honorary secretary Er Abdul Sathar, honorary joint secretary Er Dipak Dahake and past secretary Er Seenu S Pillai. From gulf times.
