Egypt's Manpower and Immigration Minister Khaled el-Azhari returned to Cairo Saturday after taking part in the meetings of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Governing Body. The agenda of the meeting included a number of issues and reports pertaining preventing job-related health problems, trade and globalization as well as means of buttressing technical cooperation in the field of employment. The ministers and heads of the participating delegations discussed the world economic crisis and its impact on employment problems and the sustainable development program after year 2015. Azhari met with ILO Director General Guy Ryder and his deputy on the fringe of ILO meetings to discuss a set of issues of common interest. He also met with a number of Arab and foreign labor ministers to probe labor-related issues.
