The Dubai Quality Group (DQG) seeks to be recognised internationally as a hub of knowledge that promotes excellence in business and competitiveness to the business community, said the company’s chairman, Saleh Janeeh. The chairman was speaking during the Quality and Business Excellence Conference on Monday in Dubai, which marks yet another image of excellence and a qualitative celebration offered by DQG on the occasion of the World Quality Month. The two-day conference, organised by the DQG, a non-profit organisation in co-operation with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) the world’s largest network of quality resources and experts, embraced a number of specialised presentations to best practices, diversified panel discussions, in addition to networking sessions, benchmarking and working papers, including a keynote presentations. Janeeh noted that quality and excellence, has been the two signposts adopted by DQG, and has since help raise the level of professional, economic and communal performance of institutions, corporations and individuals. He noted that since the DQG had been founded, it has worked for many years on the principle of business advancement and performance improvement in various sectors, with a firm belief of the Group in the importance of business development to keep pace with economic activity, which has actually regained its position in the region. John Fowler the Managing Director, ASQ Global, provided details on how members can gain maximum value from ASQ knowledge centre and derive value from its 65 years of experience and best practices. A keynote address was also delivered by the chief guest, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, CEO, Dubarch.
