Congratulations have been pouring in from foreign leaders and groups for the ongoing 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). President of the Greek Socialist International George A. "I am certain that the important decisions that will be taken in the 18th National Congress will pave the way for a new era of development, stability and success for the party, for China and the Chinese people," he said. He looked forward to continuing and intensifying cooperation between the two parties in the future. He firmly believed the achievements of the CPC congress would further strengthen the existing friendly cooperative ties between the two peoples and the two parties. Redwan Hussien, head of the secretariat of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front, said China's economic transformation had not only benefited its own people but also contributed to the world community in general and to the people of Africa in particular.
