Public Relations & Media Section at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has reported a 46% increase in the volume of real estate transactions in the kingdom in 2012 compared to 2011, with a total value of performance reaching BD 663.991.641. Figures revealed that real estate transactions in the last quarter of 2012 rose by 23% compared to the same period in 2011. The Public Relations & Media Section said that the sector thrived because the confidence of Bahraini, GCC and foreign investors in the country's investment sector has been restored thanks to the prevailing positive atmosphere and the government's sound policies in this regard.
