Works of the 8th meeting of the Algerian-Saudi Joint Committee ended Wednesday in Algiers by an agreement to foster their cooperation, notably in the economic field. The recommendations of this session include the opening of a direct shipping line between Algeria and Saudi Arabia to strengthen cooperation in the field of transport. The recommendations of this session also concern education, training, finance, agriculture, food industry and trade. The judicial cooperation and security must also be strengthened under these recommendations. At the opening of this session, Finance Minister Karim Djoudi recalled the need to seek ways to boost cooperation between Algeria and Saudi Arabia in various fields.
