Singapore stocks finished higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 13.52 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 3,167.73.
A total of 1.20 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 13 billion Singapore dollars (904 million U.S. dollars).
Gainers outnumbered decliners 289 to 161, while 485 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 44.51 points, or 1.39 percent, to close at 3, 154.21 on Thursday.
