The Indian stocks closed higher Monday with the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark indes, Sensex, soaring by 451.32 points or 2.21 percent at 20,850.74 points over the previous close of 20,399.42 points. The BSE benchmark Sensex firmed up further for the second consecutive day on persistent buying in view of firm Asian cues coupled with sustained capital inflows from foreign funds, said Press Trust of India. Shares of banking, capital goods, IT, tech, realty and FMCG sectors moved up on good buying enquiries. Asian markets were trading higher in their early trade following firm gains at Wall Street.
