The Egyptian Stock Exchange will preside over meetings of the general assembly and executive committee of the Euro-Asian Exchanges Union, that will be held in Zagreb, Croatia on November 19-21.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Exchange, of which MENA received a copy, up to 34 exchanges will take part in the meetings. The total market capital of the participant exchanges hit 700 billion dollars, read the statement.
Egyptian exchange chairman Dr. Mohamed Omran said that the union is one of the best prestigious organizations worldwide.
Egypt is the vice chairman of the union and will be elected during the coming meetings for another term.
