The Egyptian bourse lost EGP 4.4 billion at the end of this week's trading on Thursday.
The market capital plunged by 0.8 percent to reach EGP 511.1 billion compared to 515.5 billions last week.
All major and secondary indices declined Thursday, as the EGX 30 benchmark index dropped by 1.55 percent to 9,334 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dropped by 2.79 percent to hit 558 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index came down by 2.23 percent to close at 1,114 points.
