Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced the appointment of Mohammad Al Muhairi as head of its Clearing, Settlement, and Depository (CSD) department. ? Al Muhairi has 13 years of experience in the financial sector while working at ADX. Rashed Al Baloushi, ADX CEO, said of the appointment: “It gives me great pleasure to announce that Mohammad Al Muhairi will be the new head of our CSD department. Al Muhairi’s dedication, as well as his professional experience, will prove an invaluable addition to the growth of ADX as we seek to achieve our aspirations.” Al Muhairi joined ADX in the year 2000 after graduating from Colorado Technical University in the USA with a Bachelor of Science-Systems Management. He held the position of Settlement & Payment Officer at the CSD department prior to becoming Settlement & Payment Section Manager of the same department in 2006. Al Muhairi played an important role in leading several projects within ADX, mainly focused on the development of ADX delivery verus payment (DVP) model. Source: ArabNews
