The Ministry of Economy and Trade, in collaboration with Hamad and Mohammed Al Futtaim company, IKEA, announced the recall of Lighting lamps type (gotham) due to possibility of electric shock and asked customers to immediately stop using the product and return it to IKEA store. 
The ministry said the recall, comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of dealerships' commitment to follow up goods defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights. 
The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
