Egypt's Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq signed here Thursday with his South Korean counterpart Kim Soo Nam a protocol on judicial cooperation between the Egyptian Public Prosecution and the South Korean one.

The protocol stipulates organizing joint training courses for prosecution members in both countries as well as facilitating international judicial cooperation in extradition and judicial assistance.

Speaking during a press briefing held in the capital, Egypt's prosecutor general underscored the importance of boosting joint judicial international efforts aimed at fighting terrorism and cross-border crimes.

Other means of activating judicial cooperation between the two countries were discussed during Sadeq and his accompanying delegation's visit to different sectors of the Asian country's public prosecution
