Sudanese Minister of International Cooperation Kamal Hassan Ali called on Wednesday for boosting economic cooperation among Arab countries.

Addressing a forum of Arab businessmen in Khartoum, Ali praised an initiative by Sudanese President Omar al Bashir to achieve food security in the Arab region.

He also called for organizing more meetings between Arab and Sudanese businessmen in the coming period to push forward economic cooperation.

Ali stressed the importance of achieving integration between Sudan and other Arab countries and making use of available resources in a manner that serves Arab peoples.
