 Minister of Manpower Nahed el-Ashri has said the government is willing to secure all needs of non-regular workers at the New Suez Canal.
In a press statement on Friday, Ashri vowed to protect the rights of all workers.
Efforts are underway to sign a contract with an insurance company to ensure the safety of workers, the minister said.
She added that the Ministry of Military Production has voiced its readiness to provide training for workers at the New Suez Canal.
