The of ministers approved Tuesday mutually agreed draft public procurement projects in the sectors of Water Resources, Public Works, Housing, Higher Education and Sports.
As for water resources, the draft project provides for the planning of the rivers of Boumerzoug and  Rhummel which will help develop spaces for relaxation and recreation in the province of Constantine and participate in its protection against floods, a statement of the Council of ministers said.
Regarding the field of public works, the draft project pertains to the building of 8 penetrating roads  that will connect the east-west highway to the provinces of Guelma of 26 km, Mostaganem (66 km), Skikda (31 km), Mascara (43 km) and Batna (20 km), as well as the ports of Ténès (22 km in the first phase), Ghazaouet (13 km in the first step) and Oran (8 km in the first step).
Regarding the housing area, the draft project provides for the construction of 4500 public rental houses in the province of Boumerdes.        
 For the sector of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the project provides the building of the university center of Sidi Abdallah in the province of Algiers (20,000 seats and 11,000 accommodation places).
 As for the Sports sector, the project is meant to build an indoor stadium with 50,000 seats in Setif.
