Muscat - Arabstoday

An Omani author will launch the first of her five-book series of adventure fiction in English titled - ‘Mirabella and the Pearl of Chulothe' - on Thursday at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel. Written by Laila Al Bellucci, the first of the five-part series will take readers around the world to find five keys, starting with her first book ‘Mirabella and the Pearl of Chulothe', which will be launched in Oman by Sayyid Faisal Bin Turki al Saeed, COO of Brand Oman. The UK-educated author has drawn on her Middle Eastern heritage to create stories that show how as humans, no matter your nationality or ethnicity, everyone is alike. Her debut novel sets the stage for an adventure that unfolds over four more books set in locations throughout the world that uses myths and legends from the region as part of the story. The first book of five in the series, ‘Mirabella and the Pearl of Chulothe' begins a quest by three friends that will span the globe in a race of good against evil to find the Five Keys that will prevent the coming of a new dark age. A classic hero's journey this is a modern tale of courage and fear, of love and loss, and how experience can teach us to discover our true self and the power that comes with belief in ourselves. ‘Mirabella and the Pearl of Chulothe' is currently available through book distributor, Ingram, at Amazon and Barnes & Noble online and soon with other booksellers around the world.
