London - Arabstoday

Saudi Ambassador to the UK Prince Muhammad bin Nawaf yesterday opened the Kingdom’s pavilion at the London Book Fair. He said Saudi Arabia is participating for the sixth consecutive year in the show. “Our pavilion in the fair is not just for participation but to highlight the increasing number of books and publications in the Kingdom,” the ambassador said. During his tour of the pavilion, representatives of publishing houses and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs briefed the prince on their participation. Prince Muhammad, accompanied by Ahmed Al-Hamdan, chairman of the Association of Saudi Publishers, also toured the pavilions of Arab and Islamic countries and major British and global publishers. Al-Hamdan said the Kingdom’s participation this year is much better than last year. The pavilion covers 120 square meters. The three-day fair is attended by more than 1,500 publishing houses in 55 countries.
