Head of the National Defense and Security Committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives Maj. Gen. Kamal Amer, praised the Arab positions from Qatar and results of the meeting held in Cairo days ago, describing what happened as a "firm stance" in the face of Qatar.
MP Kamal Amer said, during an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the meeting will have a great impact in deterring them and reconsidering their Arab positions and the Arab threats to Qatar. Kamal Amer said during the interview that waving all the Arab capabilities will confront them The extent of their support, whether from Turkey or Iran.
Regarding the punitive decisions of the Arab countries towards Qatar, the MP confirmed that he is confident that there are firm collective actions taken by the Arab countries, and added to Libya to deter the Qatari actions, and whether those decisions will have a real role in Qatar's position.
He added that the Arab stance will have the effect of limiting the persistence of Qatar in its misguided behavior in support of terrorism, which faces the countries of the Arab nation, and disperses its forces in favor of other forces that are hostile to the Arab nation and a threat to peace and stability.
