Doha - Arab Today

The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of an explosion which occurred in the centre of the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least one person and injuring dozens of people.

Qatar News Agency, QNA, quoted a statement from the Qatari Foreign Ministry as saying that the country strongly condemns such a criminal act which contravenes human values and targets the security and stability of Afghanistan.

The statement reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever their motives and causes, expressing sincere condolences to the Afghan government and people and to the families of the victims, who fell victim to this heinous crime.
