Commander Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abudllah Al Ghofaily Monday called on Federal Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain here in his office at Ministry of Defence Production Rawalpindi.
The minister thanked the visiting dignitary for Saudi Arabia’s assistance and support to Pakistan from time to time, a press release said.
He appreciated the ongoing cooperation between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra and Saudi Ministry of
Defence on the Super Mushshak aircraft.
Both sides desired to enhance mutual cooperation in different areas of defence production, especially in the field
of ship building industry.
Rana Tanveer offered supply of defence products of Pakistan in order to meet the requirements of Saudi armed forces
along with complete training package and after sales support.
He also offered facilities of Pakistan’s Defence Production Establishments for experimental testing and development of arms, ammunition and optics to Saudi Arabia.
Joint ventures with Karachi Shipyard for construction of warships and ship repair facilities also came under the discussion during the meeting.
