Qatar's Supreme Education Council (SEC)
Doha - Arabstoday

Qatar's Supreme Education Council (SEC) Qatari authorities are expected to introduce a new law aimed at regulating private education and tuition centres in the country. According to The Peninsula newspaper, the draft law outlines plans to keep tabs on educational service providers.
The law is being prepared by the Supreme Education Council (SEC), and would require all 194 education centres in the country to obtain a licence from the organisation.
Companies would also be required to disclose information about credentials of their directors, trainers and other staff.
The education centres will not be allowed to offer college or university programmes accredited to foreign universities without approval from the SEC.
