SMASHERS team from Tishreen University won the second place after solving 6 problems. They also won the "Solid Programmer" prize for sending the first correct solution in the 7th minute after the start of the contest.
However, the 3rd place went to al-Baath AT from al-Baath University of Homs as the team solved 5 problems.
The winner Nitro++ told SANA youth bulletin that the team's three members; Nour al-Assadi, Firas Qassar and Khaled Qatini, exerted big efforts to win the first place and realize their dream, which would further give them a boost to work harder to win the regional contest scheduled in Egypt soon.
Each team in the contest is to answer 10 questions using the Java and C++ programming languages and the various algorithms. Every team work as one coder on a computer to solve the questions and enter the programming code by one of the programming languages and send them to a central server.
