Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, the Ajman University of Science and Technology is hosting the 18th session of the General Assembly of the Association
of Arab Private Institutions for Higher Education (AAPIHE) next Wednesday.
AAPIHE is primarily concerned with the long-term development needs of Arab private institutions for higher education.
Osama Saeed Salman, AUST Vice President, commented, "The firm support of the U.A.E. government, particularly the educational authorities, has propelled AUST to achieve its educational mission and go beyond the borders to support Arab educational institutions. The far sighted vision of the leadership of our country facilitates our goals and assists us in aspiring to achieving them." The annual general assembly of the Association of Arab Private Institutions for Higher Education will be attended by all member institutions, in addition to other private universities and colleges from several Arab countries along with a number of education investors.
The meeting is meant to help build closer links of cooperation, integration and coordination between member institutions, private education stakeholders, and regulatory bodies of educational affairs.
