The 39th Baghdad International Exhibition Iraqi foreign investment has become an attraction among foreign markets. These statements come from Iraqi trade ministry in the 39th Baghdad International Exhibition. Exhibition General Manager Sadiq Hussien Sultan said major states and international companies participating in the exhibition include Japan, Germany, America, Italy, France, Sweden and Holland.
Canon, Boeing and Microsoft are among the participating international companies, he said.
He added that "companies arriving to Iraq participating in the exhibition including technological companies seeking to open new market in Iraq, expecting signing new business agreements in different sectors, after holding dialogues with them."
The exhibition will be a great chance to discover the latest economic developments and modern technology, sources said.
Iraqi prime ministry has agreed to allocate 500 acres to construct the new exhibition at Faw Palaces Complex.
All roads leading to the exhibition at El-Mansour area in the Iraqi capital will be closed as a heightened security measure. This causes uproar among residents who want to visit the exhibition, source said.
