Standard Chartered (StanChart) has been recognised as the ‘Best Investment Bank in the UAE’ in the 2012 edition of Global Finance’s annual list of the World’s Best Investment Banks. Global Finance editors, with input from industry experts, determined the winners based on a series of criteria that included market share, number and size of deals, service and advice, structuring capabilities, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing, after-market performance of underwritings and market reputation. Deals announced or completed in 2011 were considered. The complete list of winners will be published in the April 2012 issue of Global Finance and awards will be presented at a ceremony that will be held during the World Bank/IMF Meetings on October 13, 2012 at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club in Tokyo, Japan.
