Egyptian Minister of Higher Education el Sayyed Abdel Khaleq met on Tuesday with Guinean Ambassador in Cairo Soriba Camara.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of bolstering cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education and exchange of teaching staffers.
"The Egyptian universities are ready to host Guinean students," the minister said.
He further suggested signing a protocol with Guinea to boost cooperation between the two states.
Camara, for his part, praised a role played by Egypt to promote education in Africa.
He added that the biggest university in Guinea is bearing the name of late Egyptian leader Gamal Abdel Nasser.
