Abdullah Badr
Cairo - MENA

El-Zawia el-Hamra Misdemeanor Court decided to imprison broadcaster in El-Hafez Channel Abdullah Badr for two months and fine him 5,000 pounds for insulting the judiciary.
The incident goes back to last April when some judges submitted complaints against Badr accusing him of insulting the Egyptian judiciary and mocking the justice system on the background of a court ruling to close El-Hafez Channel.
During investigations, Badr said that he did not mean to insult judges but just media personnel.
