National Day
Abu Dhabi - WAM

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has called upon the public and his followers on social media networks to nominate first 43 top position holders in the U.A.E. in various fields, in a bid to honour them during the U.A.E.'s 43rd National Day celebrations.
Explaining his request, Sheikh Mohammed said, "We, Emiratis, like the first position and appreciate those who work for it. We want the community to nominate the top achievers, such as first Emirati doctor, female ambassador, first Emirati to climb Mount Everest or those from other academic, sports, social and professional fields, so as to honour and show our appreciation to them during the U.A.E.'s 43rd National Day celebrations." He added, "First position holders are role models, and honouring them embodies the U.A.E. citizen's love for the top position." The public can place their nominations through Hash Tag #Awa'el_Al Emarat- Emirati First Position Holders.
Sheikh Mohammed added that the public can nominate persons in any field, such as the first U.A.E. coach, pilot, or other names of top ranking personalities in all fields. The winners will be honoured during a ceremony which will be attended by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ministers and officials.
