Libya terminates broadcast of 9 TV stations
TV stations in Libya
Cairo - MENA
The Cairo based Nilesat authority had accepted requests from Libya's interim government to halt transmission of nine satellite channels.
The channels shut down are Libya Al-Watanya 1, Libya Al-Watanya 2, Libya Sport 1, Libya Sport 2, Libya Al-Rasmya, Libya Al-Hedaia, Libya Education TV and Al-Shababya.
Negotiations are underway to reschedule the debts of the Libyan channels.
