Preparations underway for media conference in Jordan

Preparations are underway for holding a major conference in Jordan this year on the media and tourism security, assistant Arab League secretary general for media affairs Haifaa Abu Ghazala said.
On the sidelines of a conference on the role of the media in supporting the Arab economy, which concluded Thursday in Amman, Abu Ghazala told MENA that a preparatory committee will convene next week for the major event, which will focus on reassuring and encouraging tourists to visit the region.
